Marriage

Marriage is a special act between two lovers who wish to share a permanent bond together, it is a grand show of union, one that is to be appreciated by some.
And here on Archon Legends, we have designed our own method of marriage for two players, the rules of marriage are as follows.

1. Both players must be FULLY WILLING to do this, no forcing another player into this or badgering them if they don't wanna!

2. They do not have to openly state it is happening, though if they intend to invite other players, it may be wise to let them know.

3. One of them must purchase a marriage certificate, and both must purchase a ring. (Multiple tiers of rings for various bonuses)

4. Both players may start a closed (Or open, however this is purely optional) thread with the tag [WEDDING]. Both spouses-to-be must each make at minimum five posts per spouse. All other participating players do not have to make a minimum number of posts as they are but spectators.

5. In addition to completing the thread with five posts each, they must both write down the special vows related to each continent, pending on where their home nation is. (For instance, the Groom is from the Teresian islands, however the bride is from the crater. They would both state the vows of their nation, not the other's.

Following these simple rules, the two may become married! Though it is not merely a status, marriage in this RP carries bonuses as well! The bonuses are as follows:

Love Share: The spouses will both get a 10% boost to their gains as long as they are in a thread together.

Beyond Death: When witnessing the death of their spouse, the surviving spouse gains a massive 40% Resolve boost.

Each nation has their own varient of the vows the wedded couple must state, each reflect the traditions and culture of the nation they come from and too do they display devotion and passion.

Teresian Isles:

Groom: Under Azeron's watch, and within the power of the flow, I give my blade and home to you, to always protect you, and to shelter you from the dangers of this world. I give my life to you for this divine union.

Bride: Under Meridia's protection, and away from the ravages of the seven storms, I give my love and care to you, to always support you, and to guide you on the right path. I give my life to you for this divine union.

Heran:

Groom: In the skies or on the steel, my strength will carry us both forward. Even should these lands drop from the sky, my passion will continue evermore.

Bride: In the skies or on the steel, my love will catch you even should your strength fail. Should these lands drop from the sky, my devotion will continue evermore.

Yarrose:

Groom: The power of the mystic guide me, to you I give an endless bond, one that cannot be recreated with magic, to further your life as well as mine, I shall never depart from this bond so long as I live.

Bride: The power of the seers guide me, to you I give a bottomless passion, one that cannot be recreated with any amount of studying, to further your life as well as mine, I shall never depart from this bond so long as I live.

Deep Dark:

Groom: Even in the deepest darkness, I will love you always, climbing higher and higher to further our bonds. Should the cliff walls crumble away, I will still protect you.

Bride: Even up the highest peaks, I will love you always, lighting the way to strengthen our bonds. Should the darkness spread further, I will still support you.

ijiri:

Groom: With Inari's blessings, I give my strength and all of my wisdom to you. With this ceremony our chi becomes one, and forever more I will carry you.

Bride: With Inari's blessings, I give my love and all of my mysticism to you. With this ceremony our chi becomes one, and forever more I will support you.
